| The Nine months |

Antenatal care:
- Information: All the below mentioned reports and information will be mailed to you on regular basis. This is how you keep in touch with your baby about your baby's growth through us.
- Obstetric care: the surrogate will be regularly examined by our obstetrician at Institutional level, once every 4 weeks and once every 2 weeks during first two trimesters and last trimester respectively. Routine ultrasound monitoring will be done to assess the fetal growth.
- Investigations: routine tests like CBC, urine, HIV and blood sugar will be performed at monthly intervals, till term.
- Malformation: triple marker tests to rule out any genetic anomaly will be carried out at our lab. Along with, malformation scans will also be done in the first and second trimester.
- Immunizations: required antenatal vaccinations will be given to the surrogate.
- Supplements: Iron, calcium, protein supplements will be provided to the surrogate to ensure a healthy carrier.
Delivery:
- Planning: The delivery can be planned to ensure that you are part of the birthing process of your baby.
- Admission: The surrogate will be admitted in the hospital for the delivery and decision will be taken regarding the mode of delivery.
- Care: on birth of the baby, the baby will be handed over directly to you. The baby will be taken care by you, paediatrcian and our nursing staff
- Stem Cell: Cord blood can be collected and stored during the time of delivery. This could further be transported to your country on request.
- Immunizations: all required immunizations will be provided to the baby as per the Global immunization schedule and any specific requirement of the country
Going home:
- Discharge papers: Details of the delivery and records related to baby's admission will be handed over to the genetic papers for their future reference.
- Birth Certificate: The birth certificate (as per present ICMR guidelines) will be on your (genetic couple) name. This will facilitate you in the immigration process.
- DNA Id check: We opt to send baby's and your samples to International DNA laboratory to validate the parentage of the child. This takes around 3 weeks for the receipt of the reports. Alternative option could be amniocentesis, an interventional procedure performed during the first trimester, which is not routinely performed.
- Tickets: We will assist you with booking of your return tickets for bon voyage.
